The Chevalier Tony Schiena & The Chevalier Frank Philipoom

May 15, 2009 The Chevalier Lieutenant-Colonel Tony Schiena is invested as Grand Prior of the Knightly Order of Saint George in Lodz, Poland. Tony Schiena heads up the Intergovernmental Child Cyber Control Organization IC3O as Secretary General and can also be found walking the corridors of the United Nations in New York as Senior Political Advisor as well as Chairman of the Eco-Tourism Committee of the IREO (Renewable Energy). Tony is a man of diverse experience and accomplishment. A champion, artist, lawman and humanitarian. As former World Heavyweight Karate Champion. He studied shipping and international trade at London’s institute of chartered shipbrokers, Dept of Trade and Industry and foreign trade organization and plied his trade in the shipping centers of London, New York, South Africa. A former member of SANAB, South African Narcotics and Arms Bureau, Tony went on to establish a very successful private security firm in London. Tony is currently a Deputy Sheriff of Bedford County, Virginia and a Lieutenant on the ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children) task force. He is President of the Child Council and Vice-Chairman of the Executive Committee of the IBSSA (with a presence in 110 countries). A long-standing member of the International Police Association, Tony has given specialist instruction to the New York Police Department, South African Police Force, Indianapolis Police Dept, as well as various military and government agencies.

Tony was awarded the rank of Lieutenant Colonel by the Hungarian National Guard for meritorious service and was bestowed the honor of knighthood in a celebration at Rochester cathedral, England, by the knightly order of St George. And has subsequently been appointed grand prior of the order of St George for America in a ceremony held in Poland.

Tony Schiena, World Karate Champion and Captain of the US World Champions Karate Team. Tony a 4th dan black belt in Shotokan karate, spent intensive periods of time training in Tokyo, as winner of hundreds of karate tournaments around the globe, he became known as "Karate's Bad Boy" due to his unorthodox training methods and aggressive fighting style. An accident in which both his anckles were broken resulted in the World Champion retiring from fighting and pursuing a different career. Tony's first action movie, "Wake of Death" had him co-star opposite Van Damme. Tony has since starred in numerous movies including two with Al Pacino as well as starring opposite Gary Sinise in CSI NY. This thirty year old is destined to take Hollywood by Knock-out!

Tony Schiena got his first break with the William Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice, starring Al Pacino, Jeremy Irons and Joseph Fiennes. Tony's cameo performance was as the character Leonardo. His performance included having to spit Al Pacino in the face. A somewhat daunting feat for a debut performance. Tony then ventured to the other end of the spectrum in Wake of Death. Tony co-starred with Jean Claude Van Damme in this exciting actioner, which had a theatrical release in many territories including Europe and Asia. Critics labelled the pic as Van Damme's best movie ever and one of the best action movies of 2004.

In his quest for diversity, Tony then acted opposite, Emmy winner, Armand Assante as his rookie cop partner in Dot Kill, directed by John Irvin (Hamburger Hill, Dogs of War etc). Tony quickly progressed to starring role. Tony played a playboy movie star in The Number One Girl, opposite Vinnie Jones (Snatch, X-Men 3 etc).

Tony ventured into the role of bad guy as Dr Kerwin Mathers in the Sci-Fi feature Saurian. He then won the romantic lead in the drama He & She. Tony plays an artistic photographer who falls in love with a women who he thinks is his soul-mate. He is caught in a web of deceit. Culminating in a climatic ending.

Tony Schiena's love for acting continue's to drive his focus on diversity. His love for the action genre has however, of late, become more of a focus. Tony has various action features in development. He is expected to star in two action features.

His debut performance on television was a prominent guest star opposite Gary Sinise in CSI NY. Tony garnered great revues for his potrayal of the cool, indifferent, Paul Martin.

Tony's artistic talents are not confined to acting. Tony's debut as a producer is with Salomaybe, based on Oscar Wilde's, Salome. Starring and directed by Al Pacino, Tony is Executive Producing this pic, which is scheduled for a 2007 release.

Tony Schiena has truly had an interesting past. He studied shipping and international trade and London's Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, Department of Trade and Industry and Foreign Trade Organization for a period of five years. He plied his trade in the shipping centres of New York, London and South Africa.

His next challenge was the security industry. Having been involved in various police agencies, including SANAB (Narcotics & Arms Bureau - an affiliate of Interpol), the NYPD Academy etc., Tony established a very successful security firm in London. Tony remains a member of the International Police Association and the International Bodyguard and Security Services Association. Tony was awarded the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel by the Hungarian Government, for meritorious service and bestowed the honour of Knighthood in a celebration at Rochester Cathedral, England, by the Knightly Order of Saint George.

As a martial artist, Tony, underwent rigorous training in Tokyo. As a champion of well over a hundred tournaments, Tony eventually won the World Traditional Karate Championships. Tony also captained team USA to gold in the team event.
